12 Sep Casa Eucalyptus: The Ultimate Child-Friendly Holiday Home in Spain, Perfect for Babies and Toddlers
I’m Bronwyn from Holiday Tots, and we had the pleasure of staying at Casa Eucalyptus in Estepona, Spain, with our family and friends, all of whom had young children. Planning a group family holiday can be challenging, but our stay at Casa Eucalyptus proved to be the perfect choice for families with babies and toddlers. Here’s why this child-friendly holiday home should be at the top of your list.
Seamless Arrival and Warm Welcome
Right from the beginning, Steve, the owner, was incredibly helpful. He shared his location via WhatsApp, making it easy for us to find the apartment using Google Maps. Upon arrival, we had no trouble gaining access with the provided gate code and key box combination.
Toddler-Friendly Luxury
Casa Eucalyptus exceeded our expectations with its stylish yet toddler-friendly decor. Often, rental properties don’t live up to their online photos, but this one definitely did. We were three families with toddlers aged 12 months, 18 months, and almost 2 years old. The home’s layout, including three double bedrooms and a kids’ playroom with bunk beds, was perfect. One of the bedrooms is an annexe, making it great for grandparents too.
Fully Equipped Kitchen and Thoughtful Extras
The kitchen was fully stocked, even featuring a muffin tin for birthday cupcakes. Steve went above and beyond by arranging for an online grocery delivery service and unpacking the groceries for us. They also include a welcome pack with essentials like milk, bread, ham, cheese, wine, and snacks, which is perfect if you arrive late and can’t make it to the shop on your arrival day.
Endless Entertainment for Kids
The home features a bar/dining area with a huge chest of toys that delighted our kids. The enclosed garden was ideal for safe outdoor play. Clever wooden stair gates ensured the little ones were safe at all times. Bedrooms, including the annex, had external blinds, keeping rooms dark for undisturbed sleep.
Outdoor Fun and Exploration
The upper garden had a climbing frame, slide, and swing for older kids. Access to the gated pool, a short walk through a neighbour’s garden, was easy and secure. The pool area was always quiet, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots for snack breaks. Tennis and Padel courts were available on-site, and racquets were provided, though we didn’t use them.
Local Activities and Amenities
Steve’s comprehensive information file included numerous family-friendly activities in and around Estepona, like a child-friendly beach with shallow, wave-free water, perfect for kids. The nearby marinas in Estepona and Puerto Banus were also a hit with our kids. The Costa Del Sol, also known as the Costa Del Golf, offers plenty of golf courses nearby too.
Our week in Estepona was unforgettable, thanks to the fantastic Casa Eucalyptus and Steve’s exceptional hospitality. This child-friendly holiday spot in Spain is ideal for families with babies and toddlers, offering comfort, safety, and endless fun. We can’t wait to return and create more lasting memories.
